About Tolowa Pacific

Jeramey James

Former tribal enterprise CIO. Microsoft ecosystem operator. BD-for-hire principal.

Jeramey James is a network professional and technical solutions architect turned BD-for-hire operator, with two decades inside the systems Tolowa Pacific now sells into.

He served as CIO for a major tribal enterprise, where he ran the technology strategy, vendor portfolio, and Microsoft program relationships across a complex sovereign environment. That seat — actually owning the budget, the renewals, and the board conversation — is the credential behind Tolowa Pacific's tribal enterprise practice. It's also why the firm's Microsoft work is grounded in how buyers actually evaluate, license, and deploy software, not just how partners are supposed to sell it.

Tolowa Pacific is the practitioner consultancy where Jeramey works directly with clients across three pillars: Microsoft Marketplace and AppSource readiness for ISVs, CSP and licensing strategy for partners and enterprise buyers, and tribal enterprise technology leadership. Every engagement is delivered under a BD-for-hire model — principal-led, execution-first, with the relationships and Microsoft program fluency to land outcomes rather than slide decks.

Jeramey also operates a small ecosystem of ventures that informs the consulting work — Tolowa Studio (an AI-native venture studio), Konative (datacenter and broadband brokerage with a tribal market focus), and his personal practice at jerameyjames.com. Clients of Tolowa Pacific benefit from that operator depth without it competing for attention; the consulting practice stays focused on Microsoft ecosystem and sovereign markets.
